Chris Kirby joined Boston Childrens Hospital as Deputy General Counsel in February 2015. His main areas of practice are commercial transactions, international, investments, technology transfer, and general business matters. Prior to coming to Boston Childrens Hospital, Chris served in leadership positions in the biotechnology industry, as General Counsel of FORMA Therapeutics, LLC and Vice President and Global Head Legal, Biosurgery and Renal of Sanofi (formerly Genzyme Corporation). While at Genzyme, Chris also represented the clinical laboratory unit through its sale to Laboratory Corporation of America in 2010. Chris began his legal career as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. Chris received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School, and his MPH from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
